The Corporate Law Clinic is dedicated to fostering innovative ideas and training the next generation of legal professionals.

We provide legal advice to young companies and founders that law firms cannot serve economically: if a client doesn't yet have sufficient funding to hire a lawyer, they can turn to us. Our advice is completely free of charge – the only currency we accept is experience. This is made possible because our work is carried out by excellent students, doctoral candidates and legal trainees, who are trained and mentored by leading legal professionals in the region. As a rule, we are able to advise clients up to their seed funding round. After that, we step back from our free advisory role and organise a smooth handover to a lawyer of our clients' choosing.

Beyond training our members to become first-class advisors, we contribute to equal opportunity in the startup ecosystem. Our idea is simple: startups and founders face nearly the same requirements as established companies from day one – yet they often have only a fraction of the experience with their market environment. Caught between limited liquidity and high demand for advice, we provide some relief. So that from the very beginning, what should be at the centre actually is: the innovative business idea.
