Gateway ESC X YES-Workshop: Prototype your Research

How much startup is in your PhD and what does the product of this startup look like if you realise it with the help of paper, stapler, and dry noodles? You will learn Design Thinking methods and practice rapid prototyping, together with other young and creative researchers. This way, you will playfully discover the entrepreneurial potential of your doctoral or postdoctoral research project.

Our program is aimed at master’s students, doctoral candidates, and postdocs from all disciplines, as well as research assistants and researchers at German universities and research institutions.

Content:

Protoyping

• Introduction to rapid prototyping
• Defining the critical function of an idea
• Building a prototype and presenting
