As FemReality, we empower girls and queer youth for STEM careers and connect companies with future tech talent.
The starting point of our founding was the visible gender gap in the tech world and its consequences: despite high motivation in school, the proportion of young women and queer youth in STEM education and tech careers drops significantly. At the same time, companies face a growing skills shortage and the need for diverse perspectives. This is where we step in – with holistic educational formats that strengthen self-efficacy and build early bridges to the workplace.
Technology is changing the world – but everyone should be able to participate.
We operate on a two-tiered model: direct learning formats for youth that foster technical interest, and company-focused programs that facilitate access to diverse talent. In doing so, we create an ecosystem that sustainably connects young people and organizations.
Our workshops combine technical learning, such as Virtual Reality experiences, with topics that are truly relevant to young participants. They develop creative solutions, and experience technology as a tool to realize their ideas independently. Through low-threshold access, learning-by-doing, and gender-sensitive teaching methods, we create a learning space where confidence grows, barriers are reduced, and new career perspectives emerge.
In parallel, we develop programs for companies aiming to reach diverse young talent early. We design formats that provide authentic insights into tech roles and support organizations in embedding their employer branding and diversity goals sustainably. This creates long-term talent pipelines that address both the skills shortage and the need for diverse perspectives.
Our team combines expertise in pedagogy, design, and technology, integrating scientifically grounded methods with creative practice. This combination demonstrates the potential of tech diversity and helps shape a digital future developed by and for everyone.
