Our mission is to develop the first intelligent ice bath that enables cost-effective, space-saving and safe cold therapy directly in your home.
Democratizing access to Cryotherapy
Through this innovation, we can democratize access to cryotherapy, starting with professional athletes and then extending to every fitness enthusiast.
Recent studies, including an extensive review by Legrand et al. (2023), show that regular applications of whole-body cryotherapy can significantly reduce inflammation and accelerate neuromuscular recovery after intense exercise. Not only does cold provide this well-known improvement in recovery times, but it also enhances sleep quality and mental health, which has opened up significant market opportunities in the health and wellness sector.
Improve your health and your fitness
We are developing a personalized B2C solution around the topic with hardware and software. Our goal is to customize this application to make it accessible and applicable to anyone who wants to improve their health and fitness. We strive to reach a wide range of users, from top athletes to those who simply want to keep fit on a daily basis.
How did you get together as a team?
Our founding team from Cologne has been closely connected since our school days. We combine expertise in business administration, IT and entrepreneurial experience in e-commerce.
How did you come up with your idea?
The decision to go poolside came after the thrill of ice swimming in winter in Lake Otto-Maigler near Cologne and because cryoboxes are not suitable enough for everyday use.
In collaboration with the expert Priv. Doz. Dr. Raphael Bruno, we have developed a B2C concept for beyond the borders of the EU and into the USA that makes cold therapy standardized, cost-effective and, above all, safe to use - an approach that has long been endorsed by German health insurance companies like BARMER.
