Digital innovation and entrepreneurship are essential for businesses looking to stay competitive in today's rapidly changing business landscape. They enable businesses to increase efficiency, enhance customer experiences, reach new customers, foster innovation and creativity, and be more flexible and adaptable to changing market conditions.
The module "Digital Innovation and Digital Entrepreneurship" provides students with an in-depth understanding of the concepts and tools required to succeed in today's digital business world. It covers a range of topics from digital transformation to entrepreneurial mindset, market research and analysis, product development, startup business modelling and monetization strategies, and scaling and expansion of business ideas.
The importance of digital innovation and entrepreneurship in the modern business world is discussed, highlighting how entrepreneurship can use digital innovation to develop business opportunities.
Throughout the module, students learn about the process of entrepreneurial business development and the lean startup methodology, which provides a framework for developing and testing business ideas in a fast and efficient manner.
Students are also introduced to market research and analysis, enabling them to identify and evaluate business opportunities in a digital world. In addition, they learn about developing a minimum viable product (MVP) and best practices for launching and scaling digital innovations.

• Fundamentals of digital innovation, digital entrepreneurship, and business creation.
• Methods and concepts for building (especially data-driven) business models (e.g., business model canvas)
• Basics of project management, agile methods (e.g. Scrum) and design thinking
